It all started with a picture of my pants. Homemade cutoff jeans, to be precise.
I set them on the front steps, and next thing you know, the “501” moniker lent way to a unique marketing phrase to be intertwined with the pants themselves. Everybody and their jean-toting mother knows what the 501’s are, so it’s fine you can’t see the full number.
Some simple depth-creation using the you-guess-it program features, and so becomes a mock-up ad for Levis and their famous longevity. It’s always interesting how concepts come about. Blame this one on my love of cutting my own jeans apart.
